"Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes it’s the quiet voice at the end of the day whispering, 'I will try again tomorrow.'"
Mary Anne Radmacher

Traveling with cannabis can be tricky—even in legal states. Laws vary widely, and what’s fine at home might be illegal just a few miles away. Whether you’re flying, driving, or going international, knowing the rules can save you headaches (and legal trouble).

✈️ Air Travel

  • THC products are still federally illegal, meaning you technically can’t fly with them—even between legal states.
  • Hemp-derived CBD (under 0.3% THC) is federally legal, but check local laws at your destination.
  • Some airports have “amnesty boxes” for disposal before security—use them if you forgot to leave cannabis at home.

🚗 Road Trips

  • Never cross state lines with cannabis, even between two legal states—it’s still federally illegal.
  • Keep products sealed, labeled, and in the trunk.
  • Do not consume cannabis in a moving vehicle—driver or passenger.

🌎 International Travel

  • Most countries have strict penalties for cannabis possession, even in small amounts.
  • Always research your destination—some places have zero tolerance.

Safe Travel Tips

  • Buy locally at your destination instead of bringing products.
  • If you must travel with hemp-derived CBD, keep it in original packaging with lab results if possible.
  • Be discreet, respectful, and follow the law—it’s not worth the risk.
